Tata Motors Group global wholesales at 98,968 units in December 2012

Mumbai, January 16, 2013: The Tata Motors Group global wholesales, including Jaguar Land Rover, were 98,968 units in December 2012 (December 2011: 99,853/-0.89%).

Tata Motors Group global wholesales at 98,968 units in December 2012

Mumbai, January 16, 2013: The Tata Motors Group global wholesales, including Jaguar Land Rover, were 98,968 units in December 2012 (December 2011: 99,853/-0.89%). Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal (April-December 2012) were 881,009 units (April-December 2011: 809,872/8.78%).

Global wholesales of all commercial vehicles – Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range – were 52,043 units in December 2012 (December 2011: 48,099/8.20%). Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal (April-December 2012) were 436,240 units (April-December 2011: 362,745/20.26%). Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles were 46,925 units in December 2012 (December 2011. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 444,769 units (April-December 2011: 447,127/-0.53%)

Global wholesales of Tata passenger vehicles were 14,643 units in December 2012 (December 2011: 28,916/-49.36%).



Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover in December 2012 were 32,282 vehicles (December 2011: 30,981/4.20%. Jaguar wholesales for the month were 5,444 (December 2011: 4,726/15.19% and cumulative wholesales were 36,649 vehicles (December 2011: 39,921/-8.20%, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 26,838 (December 2011: 26,255/2.2%) and cumulative wholesales were 219,073 vehicles. Cumulative wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal were 255,722 vehicles (April-December 2011: 176,491/44.89%) vehicles.
