Tata Motors Group global numbers at 87,316 units in September 2013, down 15 percent

Mumbai, October 14, 2013: The Tata Motors Group recorded global wholesales in September 2013, including Jaguar Land Rover, of 87,316 units.

Tata Motors Group global numbers at 87,316 units in September 2013, down 15 percent

Mumbai, October 14, 2013: The Tata Motors Group recorded global wholesales in September 2013, including Jaguar Land Rover, of 87,316 units. Cumulative wholesale numbers for the ongoing fiscal year are 503,887 units. Total Group sales for September 2012 totalled 103,656 units. Global wholesale numbers of all commercial vehicles – Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range – are 38,049 units. Cumulative commercial vehicle wholesales for the fiscal are 237,207 units.

In the passenger segment, global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in September 2013 comprised 49,267 units and cumulative passenger vehicles numbers for the fiscal 266,680 units. Global wholesales of Tata passenger vehicles in September 2013 were 13,393 units and cumulative wholesale numbers for the fiscal were 74,129 units.

As far as Jaguar Land Rover go, sales for the month were 35,874 vehicles. Jaguar wholesales for the month were 6,438 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 37,411 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 29,436 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 155,140 vehicles. Cumulative wholesales for JLR were 192,551 vehicles.

Year-earlier month global wholesale numbers for JLR were 26,461 vehicles, so this September has seen an increase of 35 percent.
