Tata launches new Vista D90
New Delhi, January 28, 2013: Tata Motors has expanded its Vista range of hatchbacks with the new Quadrajet D90, powered by the same engine which powers the Fiat Punto 90HP Sport and the Tata Manza saloon.
New Delhi, January 28, 2013: Tata Motors has expanded its Vista range of hatchbacks with the new Quadrajet D90, powered by the same engine which powers the Fiat Punto 90HP Sport and the Tata Manza saloon. Tata claims the engine delivers fuel economy of 21.12kpl in the new Vista D90 which is priced at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The new Vista D90 has a touchscreen multimedia, with a multi-colour TFT interface and an in-built GPS system, a fully automatic climate control and advanced driver information system and fuel computer. A small digital screen provides an instant update on mileage, average fuel consumption, distance-to-empty, ambient temperature and a digital clock.
The Vista D90 gets a special noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) pack that insulates exterior noise. On the safety front, the company says the car packs105kg of high-strength steel frame for extra strength and protection and comes with dual front SRS airbags, crumple zones, side intrusion beams, engine immobilizer, central locking and keyless entry. Also standard are an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) technology.
Speaking at the launch, Ranjit Yadav, president, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors, said: “We remain firmly committed to developing new products across our entire range and we will continue to set new benchmarks with first-in-class features, designed to meet the needs of the Indian car buyer.”
