July 30, 2013: Suzuki Motor Corporation is to take the covers off the iV-4, a concept model heralding a compact SUV from the Japanese carmaker, at the 65th IAA Frankfurt Motor Show, which will be held from September 10 to 22, 2013.
While specific design details haven't yet been released, Suzuki says the iV-4 will retain the clam-shell bonnet and five-bar front grille that have become a hallmark of its SUVs. Other design features which can be seen on these teaser images include thin side mirrors, roof-top spotlights, large daytime running lights and extra lighting around the front grille.
This new small SUV is Suzuki's answer to the Nissan Juke and forms part of the company’s plans to expand its model range in Europe.
The car will be launched in Europe in 2015 as part of plans to introduce five new models to the Suzuki line-up.
Other Suzuki models on display at the Frankfurt Show will be the Alto, Splash, Swift, Swift Sport, SX4, New SX4, Jimny, Grand Vitara and Kizashi.
