SEAPL inks contract manufacturing agreement with LML
The company currently enjoys strong space in the L3 category of e-rickshaw and e-cart loaders that are designed to offer low-speed vehicles and electric two-wheelers under the brand Yogo Bikes.
New Delhi-based Saera Electric Auto (SEAPL) has inked a contract manufacturing agreement with Lohia Machines Limited (LML) for its proposed three electric vehicles – Moonshot motorcycle, Star scooter, and Orion bike expected to break cover early next year. SEAPL is known for its 'Mayuri' e-rickshaw.
Nitin Kapoor, Managing Director of Saera Electric Auto informed that LML's two-wheelers will be manufactured in Saera Bawal's manufacturing facility in Haryana. The facility also has a capacity for manufacturing around 36,000 units of electric three-wheelers. From this facility 2-lakh units of 2-wheelers will be made.

"The Bawal plant will also cater to Saeras entry in the L5 category of electric three-wheelers for which the company is awaiting ICAT approvals," Kapoor informed.

Besides its Bawal facility, Saeras other manufacturing plants include operations in Bhiwadi in Rajasthan and Kosi in Uttar Pradesh.
