Sameer Baweja appointed SVP at Zypp Electric

The company says Baweja brings extensive experience of working in Product Engineering.

Tech-Enabled EV-as-a-service platform, Zypp Electric has appointed Sameer Baweja as senior vice-president to lead Technology and Products vertical. He will be responsible to strategise Zypp’s upcoming operations and technological innovation to build last mile EV solutions in 30 cities across India.

The company says Baweja brings extensive experience of working in Product Engineering. In his last role, he was with Ameyo as Head of Product Engineering and earlier has worked with mid-size companies and start-ups like Harman, Tavant in product innovation and leading new product lines.

Akash Gupta, co-founder and CEO, Zypp Electric said “As a senior vice president of Technology & Product, he will leverage this platform to build world class tech features at Zypp Electric of fleet management, EV led delivery and rental services.”

Sameer Baweja added “In this role, I will work with business, marketing and operations teams to prioritise and formulate the next level product and data strategy via building a strong technology team and tech platform which is highly scalable.”
