July 4th is USA’s independence day, but this year it will be a red letter day for Jaguar Land Rover too! Tata Motors owned Land Rover will commercially launch its most fuel efficient SUV – the Range Rover Evoque on July 4th. We learn that the launch function will be held at its Halewood plant. The Evoque has generated a lot of interest as it is Land Rover’s most compact SUV yet. The Evoque will retail at an entry level price of nearly 28,000 Pounds. Indian customers of the Evoque will have to wait a little longer as the SUV is expected to be launched here in 2012. The Evoque is based on the LRX concept and will be available in both petrol and diesel versions.
