Spread across 4,800 square feet with a 2,000 square feet practical training floor, the facility also has fully equipped classrooms, office space, pantry, changing room and a canteen.
This training academy will facilitate training programmes for the technical workforce on modern body shop repair procedures and applications that will enhance their performance and skill levels, thereby ensuring better quality job and productivity.
Topics covered under the training include crash repair, safety, part replacement, cutting and welding procedures, paint refinish application as per OEM repair standards and guidelines.
The academy has already kicked off its first training programme in collaboration with a European car manufacturer. It is also in the process of finalising other tie-ups shortly for similar training programs with some other car majors as well.
Rai Auto plans to expand this programme further in collaboration with Indian and international organisations in the area of body and paint shop.
