Porsche India achieves another record year in CY2023, sells 914 cars and SUVs

Last year's sales included the highest number of Taycan deliveries to date as well as a record 65 units of the iconic 911.

Porsche India has announced record annual sales of 914 new cars in CY2023, which is an increase of 17% over CY2022’s 779 units and 64% over CY2021. The German sports car manufacturer’s sales last year in India included the highest number of Taycan deliveries to date — 113 units – while also maintaining its legacy sports coupe clientele with a record 65 deliveries of the iconic 911 in the same period.

“2023 was another strong year for Porsche India where sales of every model played a significant factor in our encouraging result,” said Manolito Vujicic, Brand Director, Porsche India.

“It sets a good benchmark for 2024 which will see several new products being launched, as well as further expansion to our retail network as part of our unwavering dedication to providing the best possible customer experience.”
As part of its retail network expansion strategy, Porsche India plans to open new showrooms in Pune and Hyderabad in the first half of this year. Last year saw the inauguration of five facilities in five days in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai, boosting the network to eight facilities.

Additionally, Porsche India hosted regional and international media along with customers for a Cayenne Drive Experience, as well as setting new lap records for both a production car and an EV at the Buddh International Circuit. Porsche India also hosted 45 customers for at the Porsche Ice Experience in Levin, Finland and will repeat the experience for customers in the coming months.
