Pawel Szuflak appointed director (Sales & Marketing) for Škoda Auto India
Mumbai, July 24, 2013: Škoda Auto veteran Pawel Szuflak has been appointed director (Sales & Marketing) for Škoda Auto India.
Mumbai, July 24, 2013: Škoda Auto veteran Pawel Szuflak has been appointed director (Sales & Marketing) for Škoda Auto India. Szuflak has been associated with the Czech carmaker since 16 years and has extensive experience in the global automobile industry. He will be responsible for key brand functions including sales, service, network and marketing for Škoda’s Indian operations. One of his first tasks will be to launch the new Octavia saloon (depicted below) which is to be revealed in India on August 9 and launched later this year, sometime around September-October.
Szuflak started his career in marketing with Škoda in Poland in 1997, where he was responsible for preparation and supervision of the company’s advertising campaigns. He has also worked across Europe and China and has an in-depth understanding of the automotive industry.

In his role as Head of Department, International Sales Strategy, Škoda Auto, Szuflak was instrumental in implementation of unique (VW Group) strategy development system. Szuflak was part of the team responsible for the development and implementation of the new CI for Škoda. He held a key position as Head Dealer Network Strategy and operations in China and helped build the dealer network in the Chinese market.
