The powertrain comes mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed Hyundai-sourced torque convertor automatic transmission.

In terms of gizmos, the new Tata Safari offers a digital instrument cluster, 9-speaker Harman sound system paired with an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
