Nano begins Nepal yatra
Tata Motors has launched the Nano in Nepal. The car, which will cost NPR Rs 7.98 lakh will be on sale across the country through its distributor, Sipradi Trading, at 14 Sipradi owned and Sipradi authorised dealer showrooms.
To mark the Tata Nano’s introduction, Tata Motors and Sipradi kicked off a country-wide rally, ‘Nano Yatra Nepal’, which began on June 1 in Kathmandu. During the journey, two Nanos will cover about 40,000 km, visiting 15 landmark destinations.
Johnny Oommen, head – International Business (Passenger Vehicles), Tata Motors, said, “We are delighted to introduce the Tata Nano in Nepal. With Sipradi, we have created a country-wide infrastructure to service our customers.” The Nano was recently launched in Sri Lanka
