Minda Industries posts FY2018 revenue of Rs 4,471 crore, up 32%

Minda Industries, part of the UNO Minda Group, has reported record revenue of Rs 4,471 crore for FY2017-18, an increase of 32 percent YoY. The EBITDA margin of 12 percent a record high, while PAT stood at Rs 310 crore.

For Q4 2017-18 the consolidated revenue stood at Rs 1,371 crore (+52.9%) with EBITDA margin of 12.4 percent and PAT at Rs 135 crore (+140.6%).

The UNO Minda Group showcased a technology demonstrator at Auto Expo 2018. TD118 showcases the Group's efforts to tap the new megatrends of autonomous and connected cars. 

The component maker’s investment of Rs 344 crore for its four new manufacturing units beginning production in the last financial year (FY2018) including Minda Rika, which manufactures switches for PVs in Gujarat, and Minda Kosei’s new plant for manufacturing alloy wheels in Gujarat have begun production in May 2018. Its speaker manufacturing unit Minda Onkyo started production at the Haryana plant in September 2017, and its RPAS (rear parking assist system) manufacturing unit at Haryana commenced production in March 2018.
