MG Motor India partners Siemens for eco-drive
The tie-up aims to enhance productivity and reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
MG Motor India has partnered with Siemens, a technology company, to leverage cutting-edge digital technologies (including IoT, data analytics, Plant Simulation, and MindSphere), increasing productivity, saving energy and cost consumption and reducing emissions and carbon footprint in its operations, the company said.
Ravi Mittal, director, manufacturing, MG Motor India, said, "Our partnership with Siemens is focused on industrial digitalisation and intelligent manufacturing. It will strengthen our commitment to lowering carbon footprints, increasing production efficiency, and providing significant energy and cost-saving solutions."
