Luxury car market leader Mercedes-Benz India is driving ahead with its network expansion strategy by making inroads into the Tier 2 market of Aurangabad. Earlier today, the company inaugurated Indisch Motoren in Aurangabad, which is one of the emerging markets in Maharashtra.
The dealership, spread across 20,000 square feet and 4-car display space and 7 dedicated service bays, was inaugurated by Michael Jopp, vice-president, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India and Om Moharir, director, Indisch Motoren.
The service facility, which has 20 professionally trained staff, is equipped to cater to the entire range of Mercedes-Benz cars, and has a body and paint shop, can carry out major and minor repairs, and diagnosis with a qualified team of technicians and advisors. The dealership also has an integrated ‘Café Mercedes’, a dedicated section for Mercedes-Benz accessories and merchandise, and a customer lounge.
Speaking at the dealership opening, Michael Jopp said, “Our focus on emerging Tier 2 markets like Aurangabad is going to play a significant role in our future growth story. We are looking at strategically expanding in the Tier 2 markets by offering world-class luxury dealerships, unique luxury elements, the best of products and exceptional customer service.
