Mercedes-Benz India opens all-new showroom in Navi Mumbai
Navi Mumbai, April 19, 2013: Mercedes-Benz India today threw open its state-of-the-art facility in the satellite township of Navi Mumbai. Shaman Wheels Navi Mumbai, located on the Satra Plaza, Palm Beach Road, Vashi, was inaugurated by Eberhard Kern, MD and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India Ltd (MBIL) and Amar Sheth, MD, Shaman Wheels.
Navi Mumbai, April 19, 2013: Mercedes-Benz India today threw open its state-of-the-art facility in the satellite township of Navi Mumbai. Shaman Wheels Navi Mumbai, located on the Satra Plaza, Palm Beach Road, Vashi, was inaugurated by Eberhard Kern, MD and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India Ltd (MBIL) and Amar Sheth, MD, Shaman Wheels.

Speaking at the event, Eberhard Kern commented, “Navi Mumbai is a crucial business district witnessing a steady rise in the demand of luxury cars in the recent past. We are happy to inaugurate our new facility here and provide the fascinating experience of owning a Mercedes-Benz to our discerning customers in Navi Mumbai. Shaman Wheels have been our longstanding partner and the brand has been very well represented in the financial capital of India, Mumbai.”
The Shaman Wheels Navi Mumbai showroom and can display eight cars and also houses a Mercedes café, accessories boutique and a unique video wall. It has a well-trained staff of 20 personnel to assist customers. Managing director Amar Sheth said, “We have been associated with Mercedes-Benz for the last four years and are extremely proud to partner with the brand in India. This state-of-art facility adheres to all the latest branding guidelines of Mercedes-Benz and we will ensure our patrons are offered Mercedes-Benz’s globally famed vehicle ownership experience enabled through its fascinating and emotion evoking product range and benchmarking servicing standards.” MBIL also inaugurated Shaman Wheels’ service centre in the business precinct of Churchgate in Mumbai. Spread over 45,000 square feet, it has 18 bays that can undertake service, repairs, body and paint jobs and can service up to 18 cars each day. The service centre has a strength of well-trained 45 staff members.
Shaman Wheels Navi Mumbai is the latest in MBIL’s market network expansion strategy. The luxury brand, which has sold 7,015 units in 2012-13, currently has 57 outlets spread over 32 Indian cities.
