Mercedes-Benz opens its first 3S dealership in Indore
In line with its aim to expand its dealer network in India, Mercedes-Benz has on February 20 inaugurated its new dealership in Madhya Pradesh – Benchmark Cars Indore.
In line with its aim to expand its dealer network in India, Mercedes-Benz has on February 20 inaugurated its new dealership in Madhya Pradesh – Benchmark Cars Indore. The 3S (Sales, Services & Spares) facility was inaugurated by Debashis Mitra, director, sales and marketing, Mercedes-Benz India and Sanjay Thakker, CMD, Benchmark Cars Indore. Speaking at the event, Mitra said: “With the inauguration of the new dealership in Indore, we are on track with our strategy.”
The 3S facility is spread over 20,000 square feet including a showroom and a workshop. Strategically located at Ring Road, the new dealership has been
set up with an investment of Rs 5 crore. The new dealership offers the ‘Mercedes-Benz experience’ which includes a drive-in valet service, exclusive customer lounge with Cafe Mercedes along with the full range of Mercedes-Benz cars on display. There is also an accessories arena, engaging audio-visual presentations and a boutique collection along with dedicated services for insurance, car loans and even car-leasing options. Benchmark Cars Indore has over 20 qualified personnel to cater to sales, aftersales and service.
Equipped with high-quality Mercedes-Benz equipment and trained manpower, Benchmark Car Indore’s workshop has 11 bays that can service 10 cars per day. The workshop can undertake general repairs and accident jobs, is equipped with spare parts, offers 24/7 aftersales support and also has a separate driver’s lounge.
According to Benchmark Cars Indore’s Thakker, “With the inauguration of Benchmark Cars Indore, we will be moving closer to customers who always aspired to own a Mercedes-Benz."
With this new dealership, Mercedes-Benz India has expanded its network across 30 cities with over 60 touch-points across India. The company’s sales grew by 30 percent in calendar year 2011, with 7,430 units going home to new owners.
