Maruti Suzuki rolls out refreshed Wagon R with improved fuel efficiency
New Delhi, January 14, 2013: Maruti Suzuki has introduced a refreshed Wagon R, claimed to deliver 8 percent more fuel efficiency of 20.51 kilometres per litre from the K-10 engine.
New Delhi, January 14, 2013: Maruti Suzuki has introduced a refreshed Wagon R, claimed to deliver 8 percent more fuel efficiency of 20.51 kilometres per litre from the K-10 engine. The vehicle also gets new exteriors and interiors and is priced at Rs 3.58 lakh onwards (ex-showroom Delhi prices).
Commenting on the new product, Manohar Bhat, vice-president (marketing) Maruti Suzuki India, said: “The changes introduced on the New Wagon R are in line with the customer feedback received through our regular customer engagement programmes.”
The company says its engineers have been able to achieve the higher fuel efficiency through various measures that have helped bring down friction, enhance engine breathing and improve combustion. In addition, introduction of low viscosity transmission oil helps in smoother gearshifts and lowers maintenance costs.
