Maruti sales up by 6.5 % in February
Led by strong exports, passenger car market leader Maruti Suzuki India has announced a sales growth of 6.5 percent to 118,949 vehicles in February 2012 (as against sales of 111,645 vehicles in February 2011).
This includes 11,296 units for export, a growth of 11.8 percent. Domestic sales were up by six percent to 1,07,653 vehicles in February 2012 compared to domestic sales in February 2011. The sales figures for February 2012 are as under:
