Maruti focuses on Swift at Manesar
Maruti Suzuki is focusing exclusively on the Swift at the Manesar plant in order to ensure that buyers who have booked it can get their cars. The Manesar unit will now make 800 diesel-powered Swifts and 275 Swift petrols per day. The plant’s normal production schedule includes the SX4, Swift, A-star and Dzire and it rolled out 1,200 vehicles a day before the recent strike.

The Swift, which completes six years this month sells, on average, 11,000 units a month.
