New Delhi, March 5, 2013: Facing with poor sales of its Estilo, which has sold only 9,600 units in the April 2012-January 2013 period, Maruti Suzuki has introduced a limited edition model called Estilo Nlive.
The 14 new features on the car include quilted art leather seat covers, Double-DIN sound system with USB, dual-tone interiors, body graphics, full wheel covers, and beige parcel tray. The full feature package, which Maruti says is worth Rs 23,000, is on offer for Rs 15,000. The Nlive also gets a new colour, Breeze Blue.
Announcing the Estilo Nlive, Manohar Bhat, vice-president (Marketing), Maruti Suzuki, said, “In recent months, we have had good success with limited editions of some of our recent models such as Wagon R, A-star and Alto. Limited editions bring in incremental sales numbers. We are confident that the Estilo Nlive will be liked by customers for its attractive new features list.”
The petrol-engined 998cc Estilo Nlive delivers a claimed 19 kilometres per litre fuel efficiency. Like most carmakers in India, Maruti Suzuki India is witnessing a sales decline and saw its February 2013 tally drop 9 percent to 97,955 units (February 2012: 107,653).
