Mahindra Reva among Top 50 most innovative global companies
Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles has been listed among the Top 50 Most Innovative Companies of 2013 featured in ‘Fast Company’ magazine listing.
Bangalore, February 20, 2013: Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles has been listed among the Top 50 Most Innovative Companies of 2013 featured in ‘Fast Company’ magazine listing. The company has been ranked at number 22 for its innovative contributions to the global electric vehicle industry. The Fast Company listing features businesses that are creating the greatest impact across their industries and culture as a whole.
Mahindra Reva, the sole Indian company in the Top 50, is listed along with other globally renowned companies like Nike, Apple, Google and Samsung.
The listing comes at a time when the company is all set to launch its next-generation electric car, the E2O, in March 2013. Fast Company has highlighted the E2O’s smart phone powered ‘Emergency Electric Boost’ as one of the coolest features in the car.
The e2o will use next-generation lithium ion batteries and have a range of 100km per charge, which is adequate for most daily journeys within the city. The e2o will enable users to charge their vehicle through any 15 ampere plug point at home, or at the workplace.
