Automobile major Mahindra & Mahindra's integrated R&D hub -- the Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) -- will be inaugurated on April 11. The R&D hub, which has all facilities related to automobile design and development, is located at Mahindra World City in Chennai.
"MRV has been benchmarked not against the best in India but the best in the world. This research centre will be a game-changer in terms of how our products are developed and we hope to launch winners in both the automotive and tractor sectors," Pawan Goenka, president, automotive and farm equipment sectors, M&M, had told Autocar Professional earlier this year.
M&M's 'global SUV', the XUV500, has been designed and developed entirely in-house at the Mahindra Research Valley.
