Mahindra Maxximo debuts in Nepal

Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the Maxximo Mini-truck in Nepal. The T.M. Dugar Group, one of Nepal’s leading industrial groups, will be the distributor for the Maxximo Mini-truck which is priced at NPR 9.65lacs

Mahindra Maxximo debuts in Nepal

The Vice President of Nepal, Mr. Parmanand Jha, was the guest of honour at the launch which was also attended by senior officials from the Mahindra Group. “We are delighted to consolidate our presence in Nepal where Mahindra is already a well established brand.

The Maxximo Mini-truck represents the next generation of mini-trucks and reflects our focus on customer-centricity and technology” said Mr. Pravin Shah, Chief Executive, International Operations, Automotive and Farm Equipment Sectors, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.. M&M says since the Maxximo’s launch in India in 2010, the mini-truck has already achieved a 22 percent market share in the small LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) 4 wheeler category.

The launch of the Maxximo Mini-truck in Nepal will soon be followed by the launch of the Maxximo Mini Van. The T.M. Dugar Group, already retails products from M&M’s LCV portfolio in Nepal and has made a significant contribution to our success in the country.

The Maxximo launch also coincides with the launch of our brand new 3S facility in Kathmandu which encompasses sales, services and spare parts, further enhancing the customer experience,” said Mr. Motilal Dugar, Vice Chairman T.M.
