Mahindra Jeeto sales cross 200,000 units

Small commercial vehicle, available in diesel, petrol and CNG, clocks sales milestone seven years after launch; sees growing demand from e-commerce companies for last-mile delivery

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has announced that its Jeeto small commercial vehicle has sold over 200,000 units across the country. The 200,000-unit sales milestone comes a little over seven years after the Jeeto’s launch on June 23, 2015. On August 30, 2018, the 100,000th Jeeto had rolled out, which means the next 100,000 sales have come in an estimated four years.

The SCV registered an all-time high market share of 17% in its segment in September 2022.

Key highlights of the Mahindra Jeeto are best-in-class mileage, lowest maintenance, class-leading comfort and styling, simple manoeuvrability, and best value for money which results in higher profits. M&M says the Jeeto is very popular among captive customers and several e-commerce companies have selected Jeeto as a preferred vehicle for their last-mile delivery.

The Jeeto, which is offered with diesel, petrol and CNG engines and comes in two deck sizes (6 feet and 7.4 feet), recently saw a new variant being added. The new Jeeto Plus CNG CharSau, which rolled out from Mahindra’s Zaheerabad plant on August 8, 2022, has a range of up to 400 kilometres. The vehicle has the best-in-class mileage of 35.1 km/kg and an industry-leading load carrying capacity of 650kg..
