Mahindra’s rugged utility vehicle, the Bolero has reported record sales of over 51,000 units during the year ended March 2008.
According to the company, this makes the Bolero the first brand in the SUV/ UV/ MPV category to cross the 50,000-units mark in a single financial year.
“With its stylish appeal and rugged nature, the Mahindra Bolero has emerged as the clear favourite among SUV enthusiasts across the country since its launch eight years ago.
