JLR India wins top honours at global skills competition three years in a row
Jaguar Land Rover India wins three awards at the annual Jaguar Land Rover Everyday Legend Global Technician and Apprentice Technician of the Year 2018 held in the UK including the prestigious Jaguar Land Rover Global Technician of the Year 2018 Overall Winner
For the third year on the trot, Jaguar Land Rover India has won top honours at the Jaguar Land Rover Everyday Legend Global Technician and Apprentice Technician Award of the Year 2018, held in the UK.
Jaguar Land Rover India garnered three awards including the prestigious top honour of the Global Technician of the Year 2018 ‘Overall Winner’, Land Rover Global Technician 2018 and the award for the ‘Top Scoring Market’. The contest involved 26 countries and approximately 16.000 service technicians from across JLR’s global retailer network, who competed for these coveted awards.
While Sajeesh Kumar Kaloor Palat from Jaguar Land Rover India’s Kochi retailer Muthoot Motors was announced the Global Technician of the Year 2018 ‘Overall Winner’, Ganesh Khochare from JLR India’s Mumbai retailer, Navnit Motors, Mumbai was declared ‘Land Rover Global Technician of the Year 2018’. In addition, JLR India also won the award for Top Scoring Market, winning the accolade twice in a row.
Commenting on the winning run, Rohit Suri, president and MD, Jaguar Land Rover India, said: "The ability of the Indian operations team to compete with the ‘best of the best’ at the Global Jaguar Land Rover contest and come out on tops is a very proud moment for us.
