April 9, 2013: Swedish luxury carmaker Volvo Auto India has announced ace golfer Jeev Milkha Singh as its brand ambassador.
Tomas Ernberg, MD, Volvo Auto India, said: "Both Volvo Cars and Jeev Milkha Singh represent perfection and continual growth. Volvo and Jeev share enduring association since April 2006 when he won the Volvo Master and became the second Indian player to win on the European Tour. Jeev will be driving the Volvo XC90 that will provide him safety, comfort, luxury and ample boot space for his golf sets.”
Jeev Milkha Singh added, “I have a longstanding relationship with Volvo. I am excited to be a part of the Volvo family.”
Volvo Auto India, which set up operations in 2007, currently sells four luxury cars in the country: the XC90 and XC60 SUVs, and the S80 and S60 saloons.
