Honda rolls out new affordable bike for Nigeria

Ota, Nigeria, December 13, 2013: Honda Manufacturing (Nigeria) Ltd, a motorcycle production and sales subsidiary of Honda in Nigeria, has introduced a new CG110 motorcycle model in Nigeria. The 110cc segment is the largest in the motorcycle market in the country.
The CG110 is a new 110cc-class model developed to deliver high fuel economy and durability to accommodate customer needs and road conditions in Nigeria. Leveraging Honda's global network, the affordability of Honda motorcycle products was further enhanced for this product, realising a sales price of approximately 100,000 naira (approximately 65,000 yen/Rs 38,500). Honda plans to sell 40,000 units of the CG110 annually.
In addition to the CG110, Honda has also introduced and begun sales of two updated 125cc-class models named Ace CB125 and Ace CB125-D which underwent a minor model change.
Since their market introduction on September 29, 2011, Honda says the Ace CB125 has been well received for its fuel economy and practical utility and the Ace CB125-D for its rider comfort and cargo capacity made possible by the adoption of a long seat.
