Honda 2Wheelers India clocks 11 million customers in western India

Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa, where HMSI has a near-40 percent market share, together contribute a significant 15 percent to overall two-wheeler sales in the country.

Honda 2Wheelers India clocks 11 million customers in western India

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has announced that it has crossed the 11-million customer mark in the three Western states of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa. According to  the company, the last 5.5 million customers, who chose the Honda brand of two-wheeler, came in just four years.

Speaking on the milestone, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, senior vice-president – Sales & Marketing, HMSI, said, “We thank our 11 million customers in West for bestowing their trust on brand Honda. With our unique 100 percent digital loyalty program ‘Honda Joy Club’, we are bringing more joy to our customers by offering them a vast choice for redemption of Honda currency at different touchpoints through multiple alliances.”

The three western states of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa together contribute a significant 15 percent to overall two-wheeler sales in the country. With a market share of close to 40 percent, Honda says it continues to consolidate its market leadership in the West region since FY2015.
