The Stealth Edition Maestro Edge 125 was the first launch of October, priced at Rs 72,950, ex-showroom, Delhi. With revised styling and body graphics, it is powered by a 125cc BS VI-compliant FI engine that produces 9bhp and 10.4Nm.
October 13Glamour Blaze, priced at Rs 72,200 (ex-showroom Delhi). The 125cc BS-VI engine develops 10.7hp at 7500rpm and torque of 10.6 Nm at 6000rpm.
On October 16, Hero launched the Pleasure Plus Platinum edition at Rs 60,950.
The all-black Splendor+, priced at Rs 64.470, was launched on October 19.

Two-wheeler market leader registers its best-ever monthly sales which work out to 26,027 units for every single day of October.

Hero MotoCorp Ltd, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has reported sale and despatch of 806,848 units of motorcycles and scooters in October 2020 – its highest-ever sales in any single month. Clearly, the festive season in the country is paying dividends.

While this number works out to 26,027 units for every single day of October, importantly they costitute robust double-digit growth of 35% over October 2019, when the company had sold 599,248 units.

Hero MotoCorp attributes the October 2020 sales to "a positive turnaround in customer sentiments – particularly for motorcycles across markets, continued government policy support and a credible resumption of supply chain, logistics and business operations during the auspicious festive period."

With the higher despatches during the month, the company’s customer touch-points across the country now have adequate inventories in line with market demand in the ongoing festival period.

Hero MotoCorp began October with an announcement of restructure of its leadership team, which it says will drive growth in the emerging business climate. The company says this is part of its vision – Be the Future of Mobility. The month also saw the company launch four new products/variants – 125cc Glamour Blaze, an all-black Splendor+, Stealth Edition Maestro Edge 125 and Hero Pleasure Plus Platinum edition.

Hero closed October with the big announcement of the tie-up with Harley-Davidson, which was one of the big talking points of last month. And on October 28, the company reported profit of Rs 953 crore for Q2 FY2021, up 9%.
