December 16, 2013: Harley-Davidson India has opened its newest dealership in India at Dunes Harley-Davidson in Jaipur to cater to customers in North India. The new facility comes at a time when the state of Rajasthan is seeing a burgeoning base of Harley-Davidson customers who can now purchase a new Harley or have their existing motorcycles serviced locally instead of making the trek to New Delhi.
Customers now have 13 Harley-Davidson dealerships to choose from across the country.
“Harley-Davidson is proud to lead the way in developing a strong leisure motorcycling culture in India and the addition of Dunes Harley-Davidson helps with that development,” said Anoop Prakash, managing director, Harley-Davidson India.
Since the launch of retail operations in India in 2010, there are nearly 4,000 Harleys on Indian roads. “As a brand we are witnessing some exciting times. The Dunes Harley-Davidson gives our customers 13 dealerships across the country with Pune and Goa being the most recent additions. Globally, we recently launched two exciting product lines: Project RUSHMORE, our improved touring platform, and the Street platform, an all-new urban motorcycle,” added Prakash.
The newest dealership offers the entire Harley-Davidson India line-up of 11 motorcycle models starting from Rs 604,133 (ex-showroom, Jaipur) , in addition to Harley riding gear, apparel and merchandise.
