Lubricant major Gulf Oil, after successfully managing to increase the drain interval of its engine oil, is now working on increasing drain intervals of transmission and axle oils. In an inadvertent error in the 1 July 2010 issue of Autocar Professional, the caption accompanying the photograph of Y P Rao, global technology manager of Gulf Oil International and senior vice-president, Gulf Oil Corporation Ltd, said the opposite. We apologise for the error.
