GP Petroleums targets South India for increased Repsol lube business
With South India accounting for 33 percent of Repsol’s India revenues, lube retailer looks to speed up growth.
Lubricant manufacturer GP Petroleums, which is part of the UAE-based GP Global Group, is looking to increase consumer awareness of the Repsol brand, which it retails, in South India.
Two Repsol-branded vans are to conduct an interactive campaign among dealers, distributors, mechanics, retailers and direct customers for a month. The brand awareness exercise will showcase Repsol’s premium range of motorcycle oils, passenger car motor oils and diesel engine oils.
Speaking on the initiative, Hari Prakash M, CEO, GP Petroleums said, “The southern market accounts for around 33 percent of Repsol's revenues, making it a very important market for us. Through the van campaign, we look forward to interacting with our customers and sharing information about all our products thus enabling them to get familiar with brand Repsol.”
Premium Repsol lubricants, which are sold in over 70 countries, are produced by GP Petroleums, whose modern production facilities are set up in accordance with the stringent quality standards certified by Repsol. GP Petroleums says it is getting future- ready with Repsol Lubricants to provide premium quality products for BS VI-compliant engines.
