Government awards Rs 533 crore contract for two-laning of NH 65 in Rajasthan
The contract for the 120 km stretch is awarded to Gujarat-based Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon under phase IV of National Highways Development Projects (NHDP).
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued a Rs 533 crore contract for the two-laning of Salasar-Nagaur National Highway in Rajasthan.
The contract for the 120 km stretch is awarded to Gujarat-based Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon under phase IV of National Highways Development Projects (NHDP).
The Salasar-Nagaur highway, also known as NH 65, would be executed on Hybrid Annuity Mode and completed is 30 months from the date of commencement of the project. The Salasar-Nagaur section traverses through Churu and Nagaur districts of Rajasthan and is a vital link to Salasar Balaji or Salasar Dham, a place of religious importance.
The project will have 10-km long service road, five vehicular underpasses, four pedestrian underpasses and one railway-over-bridge at Ladnun. It will have six bypasses of 30 km length at Sujangarh, Jaswantgarh, Ladnun, Nimbi Jodha, Jhareli and Deh.
