MAN Force launches haulage truck range

MAN Force Trucks has launched its new range of heavy trucks and tippers on May 22, including a 25-ton, 6X2, long haul cargo truck and 40-ton, tractor trailer.

MAN Force launches haulage truck range
MAN Force Trucks has launched its new range of heavy trucks and tippers on May 22, including a 25-ton, 6X2, long haul cargo truck and 40-ton, tractor trailer. They were launched at the company’s dealership , Chowgule Industries which is located at Tathawade on the Pune-Mumbai highway.

The new CLA 25.220, 6-wheeled, 25-ton long-haul truck, and the CLA 40.220 heavy duty tractor are powered by MAN's fuel efficient, 220 horsepower, six-cylinder, D-08 series diesel engine.

The company says these new haulage trucks are highly indigenised and priced competitively, while offering operators efficiency and reliability MAN says that its CLA range, which is being produced in India, has been fully proven in tough applications at the top end of the market. Earlier, the company had also introduced mining and construction tippers, and these new models mean that it now offers a full range of commercial vehicles in the country.

According to Sudhir Mehta, managing director, “We have gained valuable experience in the last 18 months of manufacturing, selling and supporting over 1000 units of the CLA range in the Indian market. We are now poised to enter the next phase, of mass marketing. It is our aim to gain significant market share in the haulage trucks market. The ambitious plans of our company are aimed at establishing a strong presence across the full spectrum of the CV market in India. Our actions are calibrated to gain dominance in select segments and to achieve large volumes over the next five years.”

MAN is a world leader in tippers, and special application vehicles, including high performance, heavy duty rugged military vehicles. With this background and technology, the company has introduced tippers for every application, from 18 cubic meter mining tippers with 8X4 configuration, to 12 cubic meter on-road construction tippers having a 4X2 configuration. MAN has established a country-wide dealer network, with sufficient stocks of spare parts throughout the country, at 50 locations, in all relevant areas.
