Enfield sales up 26 percent in July 2022
Its exports were up by 90 percent during the month
Royal Enfield, a part of Eicher Motors sold 55,555 units in July, 26 percent more than 44,038 units sold in the year-earlier month.
Sales of bikes with engines capacities up to 350cc sold 46,336 units while those over 350 cc sold 9219 units.
Exports for the month were up 90 percent to 9026 units, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The Royal Enfield brand sold 50,265 units in the local market, a 40 percent YoY growth on June 2021 sales. Its year-earlier month tally was 35,815 units.
The June numbers were down by 6 percent as compared to 53,525 units in May 2022.
