Elofic turns 61, reveals new brand identity
May 22, 2012: The Faridabad-based Elofic, which manufactures filters, lubricants, coolants and gaskets, has revealed its new logo and brand identity, on the occasion of its 61st anniversary, on May 11.
May 22, 2012: The Faridabad-based Elofic, which manufactures filters, lubricants, coolants and gaskets, has revealed its new logo and brand identity, on the occasion of its 61st anniversary, on May 11. The new logo signifies the changes underway in the company by way of aggressive expansion and upgradation plans, with an emphasis on preservation of the environment. The company aims to further accelerate its pace of growth, based on the increasing acceptability of its products.

From being a popular automobile filter manufacturer, the company has since diversified into lubricating oils, greases, coolants and sealants under the Elofic 4X brand. Backward integration of its manufacturing facilities has enabled it to further control the quality and performance of its products. It now meets almost all its sheet metal, plastic moulding, painting and paper impregnation requirements in-house. Elofic has also commenced in-house production of lubricating oils and greases.

Since its inception in 1951, when it produced just over 100 filters per day covering only 10 applications., Elofic today makes over 42 million filters annually. Its varied range of oil, air, fuel and hydraulic filters have gained worldwide acceptance by several OEMs (cars, commercial vehicles and tractors) and aftermarket buyers and find usage in various industry segments. Equipped with modern machinery and processes, the company has three manufacturing plants: at Faridabad near New Delhi, Nalagarh in Himachal Pradesh and at Hosur near Bangalore. Its R&D Centre, located in Faridabad, is recognised by the Department of Science & Technology, government of India, and is engaged in developing futuristic solutions for industry.
