Delphi to offer ‘MyFi’ as OE fitment for passenger cars in India

Delphi Automotive Systems plans to bring its MyFi in-car entertainment technology solution to the aftermarket in India.

The product is billed as a real-world solution to consumers who want to be connected 24/7 in their cars. Speaking to Autocar Professional on the sidelines of the recent ACMA Automechanika trade fair, Faisal Matin, country director India and sub-continent, product and service solutions, and Dominic Yuklam Seto, vice-president, Delphi Product & Service Solutions and managing director, Asia-Pacific, said that the plan is to bring MyFi to India for OE fitment in passenger cars in the near future. It will be a first for OEMs in India.

They revealed that some of the software for the MyFi product offering has been developed by Delphi’s Bangalore Technical Centre, which focusses on developing infotainment systems and engine management systems.
