Global Analytics Center (GAC) division of Cummins Technologies India has won the prestigious NASSCOM Global Capability Center (GCC) Award 2019 for organisational excellence at the NASSCOM GCC Conclave held in Bengaluru.

The differentiation which helped Cummins bag this award is attributed to the ability to deliver value for the parent organizations, disciplined execution of Cummins Operating System and creating an ecosystem where varied business processes co-exist in harmony while leveraging each other.

Established in July 2014, Global Analytics Center (GAC) is a knowledge processing hub set up to support business process services and analytics services for various Cummins businesses globally in an integrated manner. GAC partners with the business globally to partner and own their business processes to deliver value through reduced operating cost, improved response time and most importantly freeing up core capacities of businesses.

It is claimed that the value proposition of Cummins GAC comes in the way of reduced process proliferation and improved process efficiency through standardisation and best practice introduction.  Cummins GAC drives efficiency improvement by leveraging the latest technologies and automation. GAC also offers analytics services to deliver insights to the business and drive innovation through advanced analytics, leveraging their functional capabilities, process understanding and analytics expertise. This helps its stakeholders to make better business decisions.

NASSCOM hosted the awards to acknowledge, showcase and recognise the contribution of GCC’s to the IT, BPM sector. The awards were given in 4 categories – Transformation Catalyst, Innovation – Product and Process, Learning and Skill Development and Organizational Excellence. GAC won the Award under the Organisational Excellence category. Over 85 applications were received from GCC’s across India.
