Cummins India has announced today that Sandeep Sinha, Managing Director of Cummins India and Vice-President of Cummins India ABO, has resigned to pursue business interests outside of Cummins. Sinha leaves after an 18-month stint at the helm of affairs, having being elevated to the managing director's position on February 8, 2018.

Sinha has more than 17 years of experience with Cummins, and has assumed various leadership roles across entities, including the New and ReCon Parts business in India and corporate strategy in the U.S.

“We wish Sandeep well in his new career,” said Norbert Nusterer, Vice-President and President of Power Systems, Cummins Inc. “We will miss his leadership vision, strong business acumen, and commitment to excellence that enabled the ABO to continue delivering outstanding business performance. Throughout his career, Sandeep lived the Cummins value of excellence through his focus on areas such as safety, quality and operational efficiency. He will also be remembered for his deep commitment to building relationships with customers and employees.”

Sinha joined Cummins in 2004 as a Corporate Indirect Purchasing Manager.
