Chaba is GM China’s sales chief
Rajeev Chaba, who headed General Motors India has been named chief of GM sales in China. He will replace GM's former China sales chief, Terry Johnsson, who left GM in March.
Rajeev Chaba, who headed General Motors India has been named chief of GM sales in China. He will replace GM's former China sales chief, Terry Johnsson, who left GM in March.
In his new post as vice president for vehicle sales, service and marketing, Chaba will oversee the activities of GM China as well as its passenger car joint venture, Shanghai General Motors Corp. A GM veteran, Chaba also will also be on Shanghai GM's executive committee and will report to GM China’s vice president Joseph Liu.
Chaba most recently served as managing director, GM North Africa and GM Egypt. He joined GM in 1995.
