Castrol CRB Turbo relaunched with Durashield Boosters

June 5, 2012: Castrol India has announced the re-launch of its premium part-synthetic diesel engine oil for new-generation trucks – Castrol CRB Turbo, engineered with new Durashield Boosters. The key benefits of the new product include 25 percent lower oil consumption, 25 percent cleaner engine and up to two times longer engine life. The Castrol CRB brand first made an entry in India over 80 years ago in 1932.

The new and improved Castrol CRB Turbo with Durashield Boosters is claimed to provide better protection against soot particles, creates a protective oil film around critical engine parts and improves deposit and corrosion protection.

Commenting on the product re-launch, Saugata Basuray, deputy head of marketing, Castrol India, said: “Castrol has always been at the forefront of innovation and technology in the Indian lubricant industry. Over the years, we have continuously upgraded and refreshed our portfolio of products, incorporating the latest technology to meet the demands of evolving vehicle technology. Castrol CRB Turbo with Durashield Boosters is specially engineered for high- performance truck engines.”

Castrol CRB Turbo with Durashield Boosters is recommended by Castrol for use in all commercial vehicles of Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra, Volvo, Swaraj Mazda, Piaggio and other manufacturers. It is an SAE 15W40, API CH-4 engine oil and is available in 210 litre, 50 litre, 15 litre, 10 litre, 5 litre, 3 litre, and 1-litre packs.
