Carz launches 24x7 roadside assistance programme
Bangalore, January 22, 2014: CarZ, the Hyderabad-based multi-brand auto solutions company, has launched ‘CarZ Assist’, a 24x7 roadside assistance programme.
Bangalore, January 22, 2014: CarZ, the Hyderabad-based multi-brand auto solutions company, has launched ‘CarZ Assist’, a 24x7 roadside assistance programme.
Launched in association with India Assistance, a 100 percent subsidiary of an international roadside assistance player Mapfre Assistance, CarZ Assist will provide on-road assistance support to all registered CarZ customers in 2,200 locations across the country. Under the programme, the vehicles will be serviced through its tie-up with 2,600 garages including dealerships across the country.
Venu Donepudi, managing director of CarZ, said, “The primary goal is to ensure minimal inconvenience to the customer, even if the vehicle is immobilised, whether at home or while traveling. Car owners of any brand will receive immediate support in the event of mechanical and electrical breakdowns, accident, towing, legal coordination assistance and a host of other services.
He said the Assistance Services will be available 24x7 throughout the year, including on public holidays anywhere in India on a toll-free number (1800-209-3737).
CarZ currently operates 15 multi-brand car service stations across four southern states (Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu) and plans to add another 200 by 2018 across India. The company has, till now, serviced 90,000 cars through its 15 multi-brand service stations.
