Brakes India launches DOT 4+ brake and clutch fluid for ABS-equipped vehicles
New product, which has a higher boiling point of above 255degC and low viscosity at -40deg C, meets SAE J1704, FMVSS 116 and IS 8654 specifications.
Brakes India, one of the leading brake manufacturers in India, has launched the country’s first DOT 4+ brake and clutch fluid. This fluid has been specially formulated for ABS-equipped vehicles but is compatible with DOT 3 and DOT 4 brake fluids used in other vehicles as well.
The key features of this fluid are that it has a higher boiling point above 255degC, low viscosity at -40deg C and meets SAE J1704, FMVSS 116 and IS 8654 specifications.
Brakes India is the market leader in brake fluids in India with its DOT3 and DOT4 products. The new DOT 4+ brake and clutch fluid will help expand the company’s portfolio and offer products that cater to specific applications but at the same time maintain compatibility with DOT 3 and DOT 4. Brakes India says it used its extensive in-house expertise to develop and test these fluids to stringent standards and develop a quality product.
Commenting on the new product launch, Badri Vijayaraghavan, executive director – Business Development, Brakes India said, “With improving infrastructure and increasing driving speeds, the need for the brake fluid to withstand higher temperatures becomes imperative. The DOT 4+ fluid from Brakes India has been specially formulated and developed by Brakes India’s brake fluid team for this purpose”.
This fluid is available in 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml packs sold through the company's nationwide network of distributors and dealers.
