Bosch Diesel Systems bags excellence award
Bosch – Diesel Systems, Bangalore, which predominantly manufactures auto components for diesel engines and vehicles, recently received the CII Exim Bank Award for Business Excellence for the year 2009 at the CII Annual Quality Summit at New Delhi.
Bosch – Diesel Systems, Bangalore, which predominantly manufactures auto components for diesel engines and vehicles, recently received the CII Exim Bank Award for Business Excellence for the year 2009 at the CII Annual Quality Summit at New Delhi. The award was received by the Bosch Bangalore plant management – S M Hegde (VP – Commercial) and Suresh B R (VP – Technical).
Bosch won the award based upon the company’s demonstrated excellence with respect to its various stakeholders (customer, employees, society and shareholders) through excellent practices in people, processes and partnerships.
The award also recognises Bosch's strong commitment to business excellence through leadership, focus on processes and systems through the Bosch Production System and people involvement at all levels.
Commenting on this recognition, V K Viswanathan, managing director, Bosch Ltd, said: “This award is testimony to our business excellence which has been and will continue to be one of the strong pillars for realising our future vision and business objectives. We are happy that 'Business Excellence at work' is being imbibed as a culture."
