BGAUSS unveils third electric scooter, likely to go on sale in June

BGAUSS unveiled its third EV scooter, BG D15 and potential customers can book the new offering at Rs 499. It will be fully refundable.
The company claims that the BG D15 has been developed ground up in India and comes with 20 safety features including completely waterproof, IP 67 rated, electric motor and battery with protection against extreme heat and dust. Its smart battery and motor controller have been developed and designed in-house at the Chakan plant.
Hemant Kabra, Director, RR Global & founder and managing director, BGAUSS Auto said, “The D15 aims to cater to the growing demands of the EV enthusiasts in the country by offering a stylish, smart and reliable product which blends technology with a superior riding experience.”
Powering the BG D15 is a 3.2 kWh Li-ion removable battery and comes with two ride modes, Eco and Sport, 16-inch alloy wheels that help in manoeuvrability and ride comfort. The Lithium-ion battery can charge to 100% in 5 hours 30 mins as per the company statement and the D15 has an ARAI Certified range of 115 kms.
The BG D15 rider will be connected to the electric scooter, through their smartphone, with the latest connectivity features along with in-built navigation, digital speedometer, bluetooth connectivity, keyless start, USB port for mobile charging, call and notification alerts.
For the last two years, BGAUSS has developed dealer network in all the Tier I and Tier II markets and currently has 100 showrooms all over India.
