Premium luxury carmaker Bentley Motors says it is exploring options to outsource components from India. Bentley Motors is open to initiate talks with potential partners here. Speaking to Autocar Professional, Amer Hussain, senior engineer, Interior Materials Development, Bentley Motors, said, “Bentley produces only a small number of cars a year, around 10,000. Though there is a limited supply base, the guidelines for suppliers are strict. For the first time we are exploring options to source components from India.” Bentley will put in money to outsource components for the interiors, closures and the seating.
