Avis India adds 15 Audi A8 Ls to its fleet
New Delhi, May 9 2013: Car rental company, Avis has added 15 new Audi A8L cars to its 1,400-strong fleet of premium cars across India.
New Delhi, May 9 2013: Car rental company, Avis has added 15 new Audi A8L cars to its 1,400-strong fleet of premium cars across India. The Audi saloons join the company’s stable which already includes the Mercedes-Benz E- and S-class, Toyota Camry and Altis and SUVs. Present in India for over 13 years, Avis has services like Rent A Car (both chauffeur drive and self-drive) and Operating Lease to walk-in as well as corporate clients.
“With weekend getaways to proximate locations increasing, more and more individuals are using the benefit of Rent A Car to not only ferry them within cities but also indulge in a relaxing journey with a trained Avis chauffeur,” said Mr Sunil Gupta, CEO Avis India.
The estimated size of the organised market in India is Rs 6,100 crore; this is estimated to grow at over 15 percent per annum, fuelled by corporate travel and tourism.
