AMW gets into rallying mode
Asia MotorWorks (AMW) has participated in the 10th annual Desert Storm Rally 2012 with four modified trucks.
Asia MotorWorks (AMW) has participated in the 10th annual Desert Storm Rally 2012 with four modified trucks. With this, AMW has become the first truck manufacturer in India to be associated with such an event.
The trucks were flagged off from New Delhi on February 20 to travel over 3,000km to the finish line in Ahmedabad. The rally route includes the Thar Desert and the Great Rann of Kutch.
The AMW rally team is supported by the company’s partners including Meritor (which supplies axles to AMW), Eaton (which supplies advanced gearboxes), Essar Steel (materials supplier) and Valvoline (lubricants partner).
